This design was inspired by the lyrics and aesthetic of Taylor Swift’s album Folklore. I used a photo from the official photoshoot at the center, with botanical designs framing the image. These botanical designs were found on The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Open Access database of art in the public domain. These particular assets were from both Chinese designs from the 1800s and Dutch designs of the 1600s. The font used is IM Fellow Pica. This originally started as just a poster, but I re-worked it into other merchandise items as well.
